The most commonly asked question about this collection has been, “What’s in it?  Is it just the two digest volumes combined, or is there any more?”

The MINI MARVELS ULTIMATE COLLECTION will contain all of the material from the two Mini Marvels digests, plus four previously uncollected single-page strips originally printed in the exclusive Taco Bell comics, plus a complete collection of the original Bullpen Bits (Mini Marvel Classics) comic strips, and to round it off, my final farewell 9-page Mini Marvels story, “Hawkeye and the Curse of the Crimson Crown,” originally found in the MARVEL ASSISTANT SIZE SPECTACULAR #1.

This is the collection fans have specifically been asking for– a single volume collecting ALL of the Mini Marvels.  In an age where comics don’t seem to be for kids anymore, this is the perfect comic for kids of ALL ages if you are insistent that it must contain Spider-Man and Wolverine.

Even folks who already own all of the Mini Marvels material have been demanding a single volume like this Ultimate Collection.  But if you are one of the few rebels that prefers to spend your holiday money on something NEW that you don’t already have, I can’t recommend enough that you try G-MAN vol. 1: LEARNING TO FLY!  It doesn’t have Spider-Man or Wolverine in it, but it’s the first volume of a whole new cast of kid superheroes written and drawn by the same guy (Me.  I’m talking about me.) who writes and draws Mini Marvels.  My good friends Market Research, Sales Figures, and Math unanimously agree that you probably don’t have this, and it’s half the price of that book that collects everything you already do have.

Both books are available not only at your local comic shops, but also at bookstore chains like Barnes & Noble and Borders.  Heck, I’m pretty sure they’re both available on Amazon as well.

Here is a very misleading cover image portraying Mini Marvel Hawkeye vandalizing a Spider-Man poster with a can of spray paint, a clear indication that my editor has been paying absolutely no attention to the stories I’ve been writing.

Hawkeye is not a vandal, and he does not consider Spider-Man to be lame.  “Hawkeye and the Curse of the Crimson Crown” contains no spray-paint and no examples of Hawkeye disrespecting his friend Spider-Man.  Instead, the story features Hawkeye being awesome.

This is our cover tribute to the classic THE UNCANNY X-MEN AND THE NEW TEEN TITANS crossover from Marvel and DC comics, originally drawn by Walt Simonson.  The original artwork (black and white india ink on bristol board paper) for this piece will be auctioned off later this year by the Comic Book Legal Defense Fund.
