SKIP-WEEK HOLIDAY BONUS!!!

Cape Crisis: Escape From Dark Forest!Diamond Comics, the big comic book distributor, took the week off this week, which meant no new comics yesterday. Rather than skip the weekly trip to the comic shop, I suggest comic fans take the opportunity to try something new. Sure, I’d like that “something new” to be the G-MAN: LEARNING TO FLY digest for the Mini Marvels fans who have yet to give G-Man a shot, but there’s plenty of other great stuff out there as well. If you’re like most comic fans, you’ve got a long list of books you’ve been meaning to try out, but you just haven’t had the time or money to squeeze it all in. Now would be a great time to try one of those books, and your local comic shop could really use the extra support on this lightest of light shipping weeks.

And hey, skip-week holiday bonus: an all-new G-Man video game you can play online right here, right now, for free! It’s ESCAPE FROM DARK FOREST, placing you squarely in the chase scene from G-MAN: CAPE CRISIS #4, where G-Man must evade forest monsters who are out to devour him! Play it now!

MINI MARVELS ULTIMATE COLLECTION

MMUC_GN_coverThe MINI MARVELS ULTIMATE COLLECTION is on sale today, just in time for whatever holiday you choose to celebrate at the moment!

The most commonly asked question about this collection has been, “What’s in it?  Is it just the two digest volumes combined, or is there any more?”

The MINI MARVELS ULTIMATE COLLECTION will contain all of the material from the two Mini Marvels digests, plus four previously uncollected single-page strips originally printed in the exclusive Taco Bell comics, plus a complete collection of the original Bullpen Bits (Mini Marvel Classics) comic strips, and to round it off, my final farewell 9-page Mini Marvels story, “Hawkeye and the Curse of the Crimson Crown,” originally found in the MARVEL ASSISTANT SIZE SPECTACULAR #1.

This is the collection fans have specifically been asking for– a single volume collecting ALL of the Mini Marvels.  In an age where comics don’t seem to be for kids anymore, this is the perfect comic for kids of ALL ages if you are insistent that it must contain Spider-Man and Wolverine.

GMan_v1_dig_coverEven folks who already own all of the Mini Marvels material have been demanding a single volume like this Ultimate Collection.  But if you are one of the few rebels that prefers to spend your holiday money on something NEW that you don’t already have, I can’t recommend enough that you try G-MAN vol. 1: LEARNING TO FLY!  It doesn’t have Spider-Man or Wolverine in it, but it’s the first volume of a whole new cast of kid superheroes written and drawn by the same guy (Me.  I’m talking about me.) who writes and draws Mini Marvels.  My good friends Market Research, Sales Figures, and Math unanimously agree that you probably don’t have this, and it’s half the price of that book that collects everything you already do have.

Both books are available not only at your local comic shops, but also at bookstore chains like Barnes & Noble and Borders.  Heck, I’m pretty sure they’re both available on Amazon as well.

To help you find these books at your local comic shop or bookstore, please download and print this pdf form, which contains all of the information your local comic shop or bookstore will need to assist you.

My new book, “Passive Aggressive Marketing Techniques,” is currently a work in progress.

BEST SIGNING EVER

It’s already been a couple of weeks now, but I wanted to give a quick report on the signing I had at Acme Comics in Greensboro, NC.  It was AWESOME.  Unfortunately, I cannot think clearly enough at the moment to give a more detailed account.  Fortunately, you can visit Acme’s website for a more extensive report with pictures, videos, and to see the 200+ sketches the gang of us cranked out during the signing.  Big thanks to Jermaine, Stephen, and the entire Acme crew!

ACME COMICS signing in GREENSBORO, NC!

I’ll be at Acme Comics this Saturday, Oct 24th for a store signing and the debut of the special Acme Comics variant cover of G-MAN: CAPE CRISIS #2 (Click the Acme link to see the cover)!!!  Joining me will be my pals & G-Man back-up contributers, Art Baltazar (Tiny Titans, Patrick the Wolf Boy), Gregg Schigiel (X-Babies, PIX), Brian Smith (Stuff of Legend, The Basics), and Jacob Chabot (X-Babies, Mighty Skullboy Army)!  We’ll all be signing and sketching the day away!

AUCTION FOR BREAST CANCER RESEARCH

Today is the last day to bid on some art I drew for the Marla Bea Benefit auction to raise money for breast cancer research.  There’s also a lot of other great comic artists’ artwork in the auction.  Take a look at what’s available and bid if you like what you see!
