Wednesday, January 27th, I’ll be signing and sketching at the COMIC BOOK JONES comic shop in Staten Island, New York. Joining me will be Jacob Chabot, artist of the current X-BABIES mini series from Marvel Comics. The 27th will see the final issue of the X-BABIES mini series go on sale, and it will be one week after the final issue of G-MAN: CAPE CRISIS is released, so this event will be a series-closing celebration for both of us!
Come on out to COMIC BOOK JONES to get your books signed, or buy the books you missed and also get them signed, and also on top of that get some sketches from us as well! We’ll be there all day, from noon to closing.
As mentioned in the previous post, G-MAN: CAPE CRISIS #5 is on sale today! Don’t miss it!
Also, I’m going to be live on the radio tonight to discuss G-Man (and probably also Mini Marvels) on the “Where Monsters Dwell” radio show. The show is on from 9:30pm-12:00am Atlantic Standard Time, which I believe means 8:30pm-11:00pm Eastern Standard Time. I should specifically be on the air around 11:00 pm AST (10:00 EST). But awesome artist Tony Moore will be on before me, so tune into the entire show!
You can stream the show live from the “Where Monsters Dwell” homepage.
G:MAN: CAPE CRISIS #5 is finally here! The final chapter of my first mini-series will be on sale this Wednesday, January 20th at your local comic shop! If it isn’t, please click the floating comic above to download the info for your comic shop to get it in! Don’t miss the series conclusion! Will the boys get their lost powers back? Will we ever find out where that cape came from in the first place? Is this the issue where G-Man jumps the shark? Join the cape quest and find out!
Diamond Comics, the big comic book distributor, took the week off this week, which meant no new comics yesterday. Rather than skip the weekly trip to the comic shop, I suggest comic fans take the opportunity to try something new. Sure, I’d like that “something new” to be the G-MAN: LEARNING TO FLY digest for the Mini Marvels fans who have yet to give G-Man a shot, but there’s plenty of other great stuff out there as well. If you’re like most comic fans, you’ve got a long list of books you’ve been meaning to try out, but you just haven’t had the time or money to squeeze it all in. Now would be a great time to try one of those books, and your local comic shop could really use the extra support on this lightest of light shipping weeks.
And hey, skip-week holiday bonus: an all-new G-Man video game you can play online right here, right now, for free! It’s ESCAPE FROM DARK FOREST, placing you squarely in the chase scene from G-MAN: CAPE CRISIS #4, where G-Man must evade forest monsters who are out to devour him! Play it now!
G-MAN: CAPE CRISIS #4 is on sale TODAY, Wednesday, November 18th!
If you don’t see it at your local comic shop, PLEASE ask for G-Man by name. Click here (or the floating comic above) to download and print out an updated pdf order form to show your comic shop exactly what you want.
I’ve actually been receiving feedback that the order form has been helpful to comic shops in their efforts to order books for their customers, so thanks to everybody who has been using the order form so far!
It’s already been a couple of weeks now, but I wanted to give a quick report on the signing I had at Acme Comics in Greensboro, NC. It was AWESOME. Unfortunately, I cannot think clearly enough at the moment to give a more detailed account. Fortunately, you can visit Acme’s website for a more extensive report with pictures, videos, and to see the 200+ sketches the gang of us cranked out during the signing. Big thanks to Jermaine, Stephen, and the entire Acme crew!
I’ll be at Acme Comics this Saturday, Oct 24th for a store signing and the debut of the special Acme Comics variant cover of G-MAN: CAPE CRISIS #2 (Click the Acme link to see the cover)!!! Joining me will be my pals & G-Man back-up contributers, Art Baltazar (Tiny Titans, Patrick the Wolf Boy), Gregg Schigiel (X-Babies, PIX), Brian Smith (Stuff of Legend, The Basics), and Jacob Chabot (X-Babies, Mighty Skullboy Army)! We’ll all be signing and sketching the day away!
AUCTION FOR BREAST CANCER RESEARCH
Today is the last day to bid on some art I drew for the Marla Bea Benefit auction to raise money for breast cancer research. There’s also a lot of other great comic artists’ artwork in the auction. Take a look at what’s available and bid if you like what you see!
