WONDERCON

I’ll be at WonderCon this Friday through Sunday in San Francisco, California, setting up in artist alley with X-Babies writer/everything-you-can-think-of artist Gregg Schigiel.  I’ll have some G-Man books on hand as well as the MINI MARVELS ULTIMATE COLLECTION.  Gregg will have the full X-BABIES mini-series and I think some Batman books he drew.  And we’ll both be sketching all weekend.  Come on by and check out the scene!

BIG APPLE COMIC CON!!!

I’m setting up at the Big Apple Comic Con this weekend with my pals Jacob Chabot, Gregg Schigiel, and Tim Smith 3!  I’ll be selling copies of G-MAN: CAPE CRISIS #1-3 as well as the G-MAN: LEARNING TO FLY and MINI MARVELS: SECRET INVASION digests.  And we’ll all be sketching like madmen for three days.

MID-OHIO-CON!!!

I’ve had my head down on the drawing board so long, I’ve lost track of time.  I can’t believe Mid-Ohio-Con is next weekend!  Go visit their site to see all the awesome stuff they’ve got planned!  If you’re in the area, you should definitely check it out!

I had a great time last year, and I’m looking forward to another great show!  I’ll have copies of issues #1 & 2 of G-MAN: CAPE CRISIS on hand, as well as the G-MAN: LEARNING TO FLY digest and the MINI MARVELS: SECRET INVASION digest.  And I’ll be sketching like mad all weekend as well.

interviews, convention, auction, & order time

I have a new audio interview up at Dollar Bin!

I have a new interview up at Comic Book Resources focusing on the soon to be launched G-MAN: CAPE CRISIS mini series!!!  (issue 1 on sale August 12!)

Speaking of which, it’s order time for G-MAN: CAPE CRISIS #2!  Please let your shop know you want a copy!  Download a new updated order form, print it out and bring it to your comic shop!Meanwhile, I’m trying to get myself ready for Comic Con International in San Diego, where I’ll be setting up at Artist Alley table GG-11.  I’ll be selling G-Man and Mini Marvels digests and sketching for five days straight!  There will be $5 G-Man T-shirts available at the Image Comics booth!

The Comic Book Legal Defense Fund will be auctioning off the original art for this piece on Saturday night, July 25 at 7:15 in Room 2 of the San Diego Convention Center.

HEROES CON REPORT: PART 5

It’s been a few weeks since Heroes Con has passed, but I still wanted to round out my Heroes Con report with my take on the new Marvel mini-series announced at Heroes Con — X-BABIES.  People have been asking me my opinion on it, since it is about kid versions of Marvel heroes, similar to Mini Marvels.

I can’t believe Marvel would cancel Mini Marvels and then turn around and pull an X-BABIES stunt like this!!!  I’ve never felt so betrayed!!!  As for the creative team… if I ever happen to cross paths with X-BABIES writer Gregg Schigiel or X-BABIES artist Jacob Chabot at a future comic convention, there is going to be some serious trouble!

Speaking of future comic conventions, the next convention I’ll be attending is Comic Con International in San Diego (July 22-26), where I’ll be setting up in Artist Alley with, as always, fellow artists and close friends Gregg Schigiel and Jacob Chabot.
