EMERALD CITY COMICON 2007 REPORT! part 2

At the Emerald City Comicon, writer artist and all-around awesome guy Mike Oeming issued an arm wrestling challenge to all takers in order to raise funds for the Hero Initiative charity.  The challenge was this: make a ten-dollar donation to the Hero Initiative for the opportunity to arm wrestle Oeming.  If you manage to beat Mighty Mike, you get to walk away with your choice of a page of original Mike Oeming artwork!

I worked up the courage to face Mike in the hopes of taking home a page of POWERS art, and the cameras were rolling. 

Mike often issues the open arm-wrestling challenge at the various cons he attends.  If you ever get the chance, I recommend facing down this powerhouse.  It’s for a good cause, and you could walk away with the biggest bargain in original art you’ll ever find!
